CURRENT MASTERS STUDENT AT ILLINOIS STATE UNIVERSITY

Reilly has an interest in the role of religion in EOL topics and conversations. One of their ongoing projects is titled God, forgiveness, and peace: An interview-based analysis of end-of-life communication in three monotheistic religions. This project was presented in its early stages at the Eastern Communication Association conference in 2022. Currently working on their masters thesis which is regarding the commodification of funerals in America.

Position statement:

“As a web team member, blog manager and website designer I feel my position in this organization is bringing people and ideas together in a cohesive platform. By creating a resource for scholars with similar passions I hope to create a space for EOL research. EOL care and research are my passion and so it is important for me to be a part of the creation of this organization.”

Outside of academia:

"I am an avid Magic the Gathering player, of course playing graveyard decks. Dog mom to an old doodle. And am a fan of camping."
